At 2:30 today, Minding the Future gets cranking at the University of Mary Washington at the Alumni Executive Center at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. Think of it as the hors d’oeuvres before the full meal that is OpenVA.
However, one look at the Minding the Future line-up and you  it becomes clear that this ain’t no typical fruit and cheese plate. UMW is serving up Audrey “mushroom canapes” Watters, David “scallops wrapped in bacon” Wiley, Gardner “thinly-sliced roast beef ” Campbell, Kin “mini empanadas ” Lane, Jon “crostini” Udell, and Alan “puff pastry” Levine.
