They are always in the corner of my eye, the two of them. They wear bright colors, that much I can tell. They seem to make obscene gestures at me-but when I turn to look, they disappear briefly before reappearing again there on the perimeter. They dog me like shadows and criticize me like angels. Even when I am down and out, they never relent. Two amused observers out to torment me.
